Do you see the boat?

On a calm and distant shore, a lovely breeze tickles you and makes you smile. It brings along the lovely smell of flowers and happiness. You yearn to know where it's coming from. It starts to drizzle. And you see the flowers bloom. It's happening so fast. Flowers blooming everywhere. You prance along in delight. You feel like you can fly and sing to the music of the soft breeze. Suddenly it thunders and the rain turns into a ferocious storm. The flowers are destroyed and the pleasant smells turn dark and murky. The breeze turns into strong winds that pierce your very being. You feel like you are being torn apart by knives and swords. You try to fight it but in vain. You surrender to the wind. To the darkness. To the storm. To the unruly waters. To the murky smell. To the scattered flowers. You surrender and you smile. Why do you smile? Deep in the rush of the water. Balancing precariously on the tips of the waves. Diving in and out of sight. In a constant rhythm. You see a flash of hope. You sigh in relief. Do you see the boat? Do you see that it's on it's way? You feel warmth on your cheeks and realise you have been crying. It's everything you ever wanted. Your whole world is on that boat. You are the reason that the boat is coming. And the boat is reason enough to hold on and keep on hoping. Do you see the boat?
